San Ramon, Calif. (May 13, 2021) — Brandon Rhoten, known for building Wendy’s award-winning digital and social media program, has been brought on as a QSR consultant for San Francisco-based Creative Digital Agency (CDA), the company announced today. In addition to serving as VP of Advertising, Media, Digital, and Social Media for Wendy’s, Rhoten was also previously the CMO of Potbelly Corporation and Papa John’s.
In his role with CDA, Rhoten will bring industry-defining expertise, further elevating the work CDA does in the QSR and retail space.
“We are so fortunate to have this opportunity to bring Brandon onto our team as the industry starts to open back up,” says Jin Kim, Founder/CEO of Creative Digital Agency. “This is a key move for CDA as we continue to expand into the QSR space”
“I’m excited to work with Creative Digital Agency and to help translate their amazing work into something that makes sense for QSR and other retailers,” says Rhoten. “My goal is to empower agencies to work with big brands, and I really admire how CDA is paying close attention to the audiences, especially with the up-and-coming Gen Z, so it’d be exciting to translate this into something brands can use.”
The team at CDA has a long history with QSR, having executed creative, media, and digital projects for Dunkin’ Brands, Papa Murphy’s, Round Table Pizza, Del Taco, and Burger King.
